Hydrating body oils: no more itchy, tight skin
Central heating, hot showers, hard water, winter cold: body skin dries out fast, especially on the legs, arms and back. It feels tight, itches, becomes dull and rough. A pure plant oil applied to damp skin helps the skin hold on to its water and restores its softness from the very first application.
Our oils are virgin, cold-pressed, COSMOS Organic certified and packaged in France in amber glass. No added fragrance: they also suit skin that reacts to scented body lotions.
Choose according to how dry your skin is
- Everyday dry skin: organic sweet almond oil, gentle and almost odourless, for the whole family.
- Very dry, flaky skin: organic avocado oil, rich and creamy, the most nourishing oil in our range.
- Skin that dislikes greasiness: organic jojoba oil, with a dry touch, ideal in the morning before getting dressed.
For babies and young children, the baby care pack brings together gentle oils for an after-bath massage.
Our dry-skin routine
Take lukewarm rather than hot showers, and not too long. Use a gentle, soap-free body wash. When you get out, apply the oil to still-wet skin, then pat dry. Once a week, use a gentle scrub: mix a spoonful of sweet almond oil with a spoonful of fine sugar, massage, rinse. Skin is smooth and the oil absorbs even better.
The homemade blend that changes everything
For tailor-made care, mix equal parts avocado oil and sweet almond oil: you get a rich oil that is still easy to spread, perfect for shins and forearms in winter.
Your questions
Does an oil really hydrate?
An oil doesn't add water, but it limits its evaporation: applied to damp skin, it keeps the water in. That's why the in-shower step works so well.
How many times a day?
Once a day is enough, after the shower. Twice on very dry areas in winter.
