Organic Jojoba Oil: Benefits for Face, Hair and Beard

Organic jojoba oil is actually a liquid wax, very close to the skin's own sebum. That is why it suits almost everyone: it nourishes without a greasy film, works for combination and dry skin alike, and can be used on face, hair and beard.
What is jojoba oil?
It is cold-pressed from the seeds of Simmondsia chinensis, a desert shrub. Unlike other plant oils, it is mainly made of wax esters, very similar to those the skin produces. It absorbs easily, is not sticky and oxidises very slowly.
Benefits for the face
- Combination to oily skin: moisturises without heaviness and helps keep skin balanced.
- Dry and sensitive skin: improves comfort and limits tightness.
- Make-up removal: a few drops on a cotton pad gently dissolve make-up, including mascara.
Benefits for hair and beard
Massage into the scalp before shampooing, apply a drop to the ends to tame frizz, or use 3 to 5 drops on the beard after showering to soften it without shine.
How to choose it
Golden rather than clear (clear usually means refined), cold-pressed, certified organic (COSMOS Organic by Ecocert), 100% pure (INCI: Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil), in a glass dropper bottle. Naturoleum organic jojoba oil comes from Panama and is bottled in France by an ESAT (sheltered workshop).
