Introduce one new oil at a time and patch-test it the day before on a small area, in the crook of your elbow. Apply it to slightly damp skin with gentle presses, without rubbing: rubbing is often what causes redness. Avoid very hot water and choose oil cleansing, which is gentler than micellar water. Keep the bottle tightly closed, away from light and heat.
Most reactions come from the fragrances, preservatives or essential oils added to cosmetics. Our oils contain none of them: they are virgin, unrefined and certified organic, with a single-word ingredient list. Total transparency, ideal when you have to watch everything.
Can an oil replace my soothing cream?
For many sensitive skins, yes: the fewer the ingredients, the lower the risk of reaction. Start with 2 drops in the evening.
What if I'm allergic to tree nuts?
Avoid sweet almond oil and choose hemp, jojoba or avocado instead. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
